ABOUT
Who we are: one writer, one set of ratings, no bookie behind the site
The Footy Slip is an independent Australian site about NRL and AFL tips, run by one writer under the pen name Harrison Yeo. It isn't a bookie, it doesn't take bets, and it isn't connected to the NRL, the AFL or any club. Here is what the site does, who pays for it, and how to get in touch.
What the site does
Every NRL and AFL club gets a rating from the results the leagues publish. The ratings turn into a price for both sides of any game, and every tip on the site shows that price, so you can check it against a bookie's odds. The method, and how it went across the 2026 season, is on How I tip.
The bookie pages compare what six licensed bookies say about deposits, PayID and withdrawals, with a link to every page the facts came from.
What the site isn't
- Not a bookie. You can't bet here, and nothing on the site is an offer to take a bet.
- Not affiliated with the NRL, the AFL, any club or any bookie. Club names and colours are used only to say which team is which.
- Not financial advice. Tips are one punter's opinion, with the working shown.
Who pays for it
As at 29 September 2026, no bookie pays us anything. If that changes, the site will say which bookie, and the payment will be a fixed fee per new customer, never a share of anyone's losses. The details are on how we make money.
Get in touch
Corrections are welcome, especially on a fact about a bookie that has changed. The address is on the contact page.
